Tozolón

The Tozolón is designed for the certification of playground equipment: impact characterisation and homologation, producing acceleration and HIC (Head Injury Criterion) results.

The system combines an instrumented headform with a triaxial accelerometer and a recorder that measures and logs the impacts from drops at different heights; the body is specifically designed to resemble a human head in weight and geometry. The tozolón-sw software calculates the critical fall height and generates reports automatically. Connection is via cable or WiFi, and a long-life battery supports a full day of testing.
